SKL attended the third meeting of CSAS Management Committee
The third meeting of CSAS Management Committee was held in Beijing on June 4th, 2014. Jin-Min Li, director of CSAS Management Committee hosted the meeting. Mr Zhou Xiang, deputy director of SKL of SSL (Changzhou Base) attended the meeting on behalf of SKL.
Firstly, Mr Ruan Jun, the secretary general of CSAS, reported the progress of CSAS standardization. CSAS did a lot of works in organization construction, standards formulation,organizing and attending domestic and international meetings, and extensive standardization cooperation with TOSIA, CQM etc. The CSAS standards had been also adopted by enterprises. Mr. Ruan Jun said: “Alliance standardization work is the foundation, and it supports the formulation of national standard and promotes the development of the industry.”
The standardization for SSL products interface specification was very important for the industry and got more attentions. CSAS interface specification team was set up in 2013. Mr. Zhou Xiang introduced the team work process and pointed that the team would focus on intelligent light source module and new LED lighting products. As for the LED reliability and accelerated test team, Dr. Li from SKL, said that the team would draft the standard about control devices reliability and accelerating depreciation test method, and LED color shift. In addition, LED lighting system and control team was set up.
